BEBENTO PRODUCTIONS INC/DANIEL GERROLL

Dr. Glas is a novel written by Swedish author Hjalmar Salderberg, first published in 1905. It's a modernist classic often praised for its psychological depth and morally ambiguous narrative. The book is set in Stockholm and is written as the diary of Dr. Tyko Gabriel Glas, a physician who grapples with issues of love, morality, and the value of life.

About the Artist(s):

Daniel Gerroll performs this solo piece which Jeffrey Hatcher adapted from the classic Swedish novel DR GLAS. BEBENTO PRODUCTIONS INC was established in 2023 and this is its first venture. It has been performed at fringe festivals in Edinburgh, Gothenburg and Kyiv. Gerroll has performed in theatre in London and New York as well as many films, starting with CHARIOTS OF FIRE, and TV in New York and Los Angeles. For his work in New York theatre he has earned a Theatre World Award, an Outer Critics Circle award and an OBIE for "sustained excellence".
