The Glitterbox is run by team of volunteer members with a huge amount of help from the larger community of artists. The venue is run by team of volunteer members with a huge amount of help from the larger community of artists, and is partially a venue, partially a home for artists, and 100 percent community driven. We seek to maintain an affordable place for folks to perform, and through our Working Artist Program we are experimenting with what can be done if the artists themselves control the infrastructure to host their own work, put on their own shows, run their own classes and keep all the proceeds from the work they create.
