“Waiting in the Wings is a cabaret built around the dream shows Julia hopes to perform in one day. The show features songs from the musicals that have inspired her and shaped who she is as a performer. Each number represents a goal, a wish, or a future she is still working toward. This capstone is a celebration of dreaming big, growing as an artist, and trusting that her moment onstage is still ahead.”

About the Artist(s): Julia Kirsch is a Pittsburgh native dancer, singer, and actor who has a deep love for all things theatrical. She is thrilled to present her senior capstone, Waiting in the Wings, and can’t wait to share this project with you. Julia began dancing at the age of two and quickly discovered her passion for theater and the performing arts. She thrives in collaborative environments and finds joy in creating meaningful, energetic work alongside fellow artists. Outside of performing, Julia enjoys spending quality time with friends and making lasting memories. She would like to thank Professors Sheila McKenna, D.T. Burns, and Paul Reynolds for their guidance and for making her time at Point Park so meaningful, along with her parents are friends. Recent credits include Something Rotten!
