Can we ever know a person in their entirety? Or do we only ever see one angle? It's the night before the funeral of esteemed sculptor, Oliver M. Verino. In the throes of an unexpected reunion, his three children finalize their procrastinated eulogies in the soul-less walls of their childhood home. As each sibling competes with the other on the grounds of accuracy and allegiance to their father, a chaotic night ensues. (After an electric premiere at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Crumb to a Bird Ensemble brings their premiere play home to Pittsburgh.)

Crumb to a Bird Ensemble is a collection of theatre artists that devise new dramatic works through improvisations and collaborative writing. While the group is currently based in New York City, the entirety of it's membership was raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and all found our love for theatre arts through Pittsburgh based companies and organizations. They carry the city's love of it's history and storytelling with them into all of their endeavors.
