Pioneer Records

Pioneer Records is a student-run record label founded in 2014 that gives students interested in the music industry an opportunity to gain real-world industry experiences and the opportunity to work directly with recording artists, studio engineers, venue managers, and other industry professionals.

Each fall, we select 3 artists to be the next “Pioneer Stars.” Using our partnership with Red Caiman Media Studios, an advanced commercial recording facility located in the North Hills, to produce professional singles featured at our release party at Stage AE every April.

Pioneer Records is a student-run record label founded in 2014 at Point Park University that gives students interested in making their own music an opportunity to gain real-world music industry experiences and the opportunity to work directly with recording artists, studio engineers, venues managers, and other industry professionals.

Each fall, we select 3 artists to be the next “Pioneer Stars.” Using our partnership with Red Caiman Media Studios, an advanced commercial recording facility located in the North Hills, to produce professional singles featured at our release party at Stage AE every April.

We also have a Talent Agency full of students who are passionate about sharing their music. We give them the opportunity to strengthen their live performance skills and grow their audience. We book students for on-campus and off-campus events as big as Picklesburgh.

We have selected a variety of artists to showcase at this event, and we can't wait for you to hear their music!
